CertSuite Installation is a premier online electrical test certification software designed for both domestic and commercial applications. Offering cloud-based, personalised certificates, CertSuite allows direct importation of test results from your MFT-X1 via Bluetooth, and can email certificates to customers in seconds.

How much does CertSuite Installation cost?

CertSuite Installation is available on an annual subscription for £120+VAT per user. Alternatively you can pay a monthly subscription of £12+VAT per user.

How do I sign up?

CertSuite Installation is available on a free trial If you want to continue using it after that, you will need one licence per person using CertSuite.  You can subscribe and pay annually or monthly by going to the Licences page in the Admin section of CertSuite in a web browser.

How is CertSuite Installation different from CertSuite Asset?

Both CertSuite Asset and CertSuite Installation enable quick and easy reporting of test and measurement results. CertSuite Installation generates certification for low voltage installations, whereas CertSuite Asset creates graphs and reports for industrial assets such as power cables, motors and transformers.

What certificates does CertSuite Installation produce?

For our UK customers, CertSuite produces certificates and reports compliant to British Standards BS7671, including Electrical Installation Certificate, Electrical Installation Condition Report and Minor Electrical Works Certificate and Temporary Electrical Installations (BS7909). It also produces certificates for Electric Vehicle Charge Points, Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting and Danger Reports. For other parts of the world, CertSuite can produce DE01 for the DACH region, and certificates compliant with the international standard IEC60364.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored in the CertSuite cloud which runs in Microsoft Azure. Azure is used by thousands of companies all over the world, and is known to be robust and secure. CertSuite uses Azure datacentres within the UK.

How can I see changes that my colleagues, who are working on the same job as me, have made?

If you and your colleagues have good connections to the internet, you will all see each other’s contributions to the job you are working on. Your data and your colleagues’ data are sent up to the cloud every 90 seconds, so within 3 minutes you should see each other’s latest work.

How do I work offline?

While you have good connection to the internet, CertSuite Installation will send your new data up to the cloud every 90 seconds and pull down anything new done by your colleagues working on the same job. If you are working offline, CertSuite Installation will continue to store your data on your mobile device or computer. When you next have a good internet connection, CertSuite Installation will send up all your changes to the job you have ‘open’ and pull down changes from your colleagues. How can I work faster?

There are many tips and tricks to help you work faster with CertSuite Installation. For example, you can copy an old job as the starting point for a new one, you can set up Circuit Templates which will fill in many of the fields on each circuit, you can quickly set up a distribution board with as many circuits as needed in a few clicks of your mouse. These and other tips are covered in the ‘How To’ videos.

How do I buy more licences?

Log on to CertSuite Installation in a web browser with your usual details and open the ‘Admin’ tab and choose ‘Account Management’. This will open up on the ‘Licences and Payment’ page. Choose whether to buy annual licences or monthly licences and select the number you need – which is one per active user. If you already have an overdue invoice for some licences, you will have to pay this before you can buy more licences.
