CertSuite FAQ

Can I use CertSuite software with instruments not made by Megger?

  • CertSuite Installation works well with any instruments but works even better with the Megger MFT-X1. It connects to it over Bluetooth, which means that measurements can be sent directly into a certificate from the instrument.
  • CertSuite Asset supports several Megger instruments. You can connect over Bluetooth and receive measurements directly into CertSuite. Various insulation testers are supported, including the S1 and MIT ranges, as well as some low resistance meters including the DLRO2X.
  • CertSuite PAT works well with any test instrument but can exchange data via USB Drive with the Megger PAT400 range of testers.

Can I enter historical data into CertSuite?

Yes. It is easy to enter test results you acquired before using CertSuite. The only thing to be careful of is that you use the correct date and time for the results you are entering, especially if you need to trend them.

Can I customise reports to include, for example, my company name and logo?

Yes. All CertSuite products have easy-to-use options for this kind of customisation.

If I use CertSuite, how do I know my data will be secure?

CertSuite uses encrypted data transmission and Microsoft Azure cloud storage, which is one of the most secure forms of cloud storage currently available. CertSuite software has been designed and developed from the outset with security in mind.

How much data can CertSuite store and how long is it stored for?

There is no limit on the amount of data CertSuite software can store, which means you can enter results from an unlimited number of tests. You can access your data as long as you have a current CertSuite licence. Your data is stored for at least 2 years after your licence expires and is not deleted unless you send us a request.

How often is CertSuite software updated?

Updates are issued to add new features when they become available and, particularly for CertSuite Installation and CertSuite PAT, to take into account regulation changes. Typically, there are 8-12 updates each year. Updates are installed automatically, so CertSuite software is always up to date.

Is training available for CertSuite users?

All CertSuite products have been designed to be intuitive in operation, so no special training is needed to use them. However, a series of online videos are available to show users how to get the best from their CertSuite software.

Is there a discount if I buy multiple CertSuite products?

Yes. If you buy licences for more than one CertSuite product, you will get a special price. The amount of discount will depend on the number of licences you buy. If you tell us your requirements, we’ll be happy to provide a quotation.
