Conflict Minerals & Responsible Sourcing Statement
Megger is committed to responsible sourcing of minerals and to ensuring that its supply chains do not contribute to conflict, human rights abuses, child labour, or environmental harm in mineral extraction regions, particularly in conflict-affected and high-risk areas.
Megger's responsible minerals programme addresses the conflict minerals tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG), together with cobalt and mica, and is structured around the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, the US Dodd-Frank Act §1502 / SEC Rule 13p-1, and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation (2017/821/EU).
Through its Supply Chain Code of Conduct, Megger conducts Reasonable Country of Origin Inquiries (RCOIs) using the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and requires suppliers to disclose smelter and refiner information, which is cross-referenced against the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) list of conformant facilities. Suppliers are required upon request to make their supply chains available for inspection.
Concerns regarding compliance with this policy may be raised with the Chief Compliance Officer or through the Whistleblowing/Speak Up Policy channels.
This policy is issued by, and owned by, the Megger Group Board. No deviations may be made from it without written Board approval.
