Following the success of its previous cable test seminars, Megger UK has announced the date for the fifth of these biennial events. It will be held on Wednesday 21 March 2018 in the Premier Suite of The National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, near Birmingham in the UK. Immediately adjacent to Junction 6 of the M42 motorway and just a five-minute taxi ride from Birmingham Airport, this location is easy to reach and ample free parking is available onsite.

Presentations exploring the latest innovations in cable test technology, with a particular emphasis on partial discharge techniques will be made by speakers from Megger’s world-class cable test development centre in Baunach, Germany. The programme will also include presentations from speakers from Electricity Northwest and SSE as well as speakers from  the SEBA arm of Megger, we think there is something for everyone with an interest in cable testing.

Throughout the day, delegates attending the seminar will have opportunities for hands-on examination of a wide range of cable test equipment and for discussing their own specific requirements and challenges with Megger’s experts. There will also be ample time for networking and exchanging information with other delegates.

Registration for this not-to-be-missed event opens at 8:30 am, with the first speaker at 9:00 am. The presentations conclude at 16:00 pm, with time available afterward for informal discussions. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided. Attendance at Megger’s fifth cable test seminar is free of charge, but prior reservations are essential, as space is limited and demand is expected to be high.
