Megger Best Practices Seminar

Power Cable Testing and Fault Locating

Location:

Megger Dallas Facility

4545 West Davis Street

Dalls, TX 75211

Power cable testing and fault locating are key elements to the performance and reliability of today’s power transmission and distribution systems. Megger’s Best Practices Seminar is designed to present the latest advancements in cable fault finding and assessment of the insulation integrity for a cable system. The seminar will be divided into two main sections: cable testing and diagnosis methods and cable fault locating techniques.

At the end of our seminar, a hands-on demonstration will be performed to show how all the techniques and methods behave on a simulated fault or cable defect. The demonstration will discuss hands-on applications and the challenges associated with establishing a proper test connection to produce reliable test results.
