This fully automatic test set has been designed to provide a comprehensive ac insulation diagnostic test for high voltage apparatus, such as transformers, bushings, circuit breakers, cables, lightning arrestors and rotating machinery. Measurements are performed automatically and results are displayed on a large graphical LCD display. Measured quantities include voltage, current, power (loss), power factor, dissipation factor and capacitance. Automated testing with the DELTA 2000 is taken one step further by using the Megger PowerDB software. Using a standard laptop PC running PowerDB, test routines are set up and automatically controlled by the PC. Results can be incorporated into a formal test report or stored in a database. PowerDB is programmed to perform all the necessary calculations and aids in trending historical data and analysis of results. |
