Seminar Overview
The Megger 2008 Relay Training Seminars will be conducted with two training tracks. A Basic and Advanced Track will be presented concurrently.
The Basic Track is designed for relay technicians that have a working knowledge of protective relaying but lack training and understanding about testing protective devices. This track focus’ on the MPRT and AVTS software but will be of interest to any protection individual who is interested in developing an understanding of basic protective relay testing.
The Advanced Track will be focusing on the advanced features of AVTS and the MPRT. This track assumes that the participant is familiar with the basic features of the AVTS software and advanced protective relaying in general. No basic functionality will be discussed. In order to maximize the learning experience a certain level of expertise will be needed. A completed questionnaire will be requested to confirm a position on this track. It is intended to be a pre-requisite and designed to assess the basic skills of the participant to ensure that they have the basic level of understanding for the material that is to be presented.
