The PFL22M1500 Cable Fault Locator System provides a safe, efficient and easy-to-use solution for quickly identifying, prelocating and pinpointing various types of cable faults over a wide variety of power cables.

The compact, portable fault locating systems offers d.c. insulation testing up to 20 kV, 8 or 16kV arc reflection, arc reflection plus, differential arc reflection and impulse current and pulse echo modes of fault prelocation.

The unit incorporates the new TDR (MTDR100). The MTDR100 has a large color display with operation via an easy-to-use jog dial.

The PFL22M1500 offers a number of new features that provides an ideal solution for a variety of cable fault applications. The system also benefits from a total redesign of internal switching and a new ergonomically designed top panel and an innovative MTDR mounting.
